Earlier this week, Marc Bergevin made a trade to change up the look of Montreal’s forwards by dealing away Jiri Sekac for more grit in Devante Smith-Pelly.

Tuesday’s trade of Jiri Sekac for Devante Smith-Pelly caught everyone off guard.

The trade deadline is now less than a week away and it’s expected that GM Marc Bergevin will still look to add another player or two to the mix after making a move up front on Tuesday.

It was an up-and-down week for the Habs but they did enough to pick up five of a possible eight points to stay atop the Atlantic Division standings.
