The 2023 NHL Entry Draft is almost upon us which means it’s time for our annual mock draft. As is tradition, we’ve picked the entire first round. In addition, we’ve also picked Montreal’s next four selections after the top round.
Welcome to HabsWorld’s annual draft pool. The Habs are slated to have the fifth-overall pick along with the 31st selection. Make your guess as to who the Canadiens will select as well as who the rest of the league will pick in the first round on Wednesday night.

Here are the final results from the Vegas Golden Knights Expansion Pool. It took getting more than 50% of the picks correct to take home first place.
Maxime Comtois has seen his stock fall this season but he would be an intriguing project player for the Habs to ponder on draft day.
An option at pick 25 could very likely be Shane Bowers, a Canadian centre going the NCAA route. He played with Waterloo in the USHL last season and has committed to powerhouse Boston University for the 2017-18 campaign.
