While it took a while to be announced, the Habs did get one more trade done before the trade deadline, sending Nick Cousins to Vegas for a 2021 fourth-round pick.

The veteran purge in Laval continues. After moving out Phil Varone and Riley Barber last week, the Habs have shipped Matthew Peca to Ottawa for Aaron Luchuk and a 2020 seventh-round pick.

As expected, the Habs have moved Nate Thompson in advance of the trade deadline, sending him to Philadelphia in exchange for a 2021 fifth-round pick.
