After a long layoff following their West Coast road trip, the Habs were back in action on Saturday as they hosted the Kings. A comeback in the second half of the third period fell just short as Los Angeles picked up the 4-2 victory.

Laval wrapped up their five-game road trip last week, one that saw them begin with plenty of extra players and finish with barely enough to ice a roster. The end result wasn’t much different in the end as they dropped two of three to drop to last in the North Division.

The Habs were back at home on Tuesday for a matchup against San Jose before heading out West. However, their struggles against them continued as they fell 4-0, their third straight time being blanked by the Sharks.
