There weren’t many games played but it was a winning week for both the Habs and the Bulldogs.
Earlier this month, the Hamilton Bulldogs hit the halfway point of their season in a very similar situation to where they were at the quarter pole.
It was a week of ups and downs for the Habs with more of the former than the latter as the team won two of its three games.
Home ice wasn’t too friendly to the Habs this past week as they could only muster a single point in a pair of losses to the top two teams in the Eastern Conference standings.
December brought more of the same for the Hamilton Bulldogs who continue to bounce between just being in and just being out of the playoff race.
The 2015 World Juniors are now over and for the most part, it was a successful tournament for Montreal’s prospects.
It was a perfect week in the win-loss column for the Habs as they won all four games away from home, extending their winning streak to six in a row.
Montreal continues to take care of business on the road as on Friday night, the Habs doubled up New Jersey by a score of 4-2.
The Preliminary Round at the 2015 World Junior Championships has come to an end and all four representatives from the Montreal Canadiens are moving on to the Medal Round.
It was a light week for the Habs who had just one game but they made the most of it with a win over the Islanders.
