This past Saturday, I had the chance to see Michael McCarron’s London Knights as they travelled to Barrie to take on the Colts in a rematch of the league finals from last season.
Although it hasn’t been anywhere near as bad as last year, scoring has been an issue through the first half of the season for the Hamilton Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs have hit the halfway point of the season and find themselves in nearly an identical situation compared to where they were after the one-quarter mark.
December is always a big month for young prospects. Those that are junior aged are vying for spots at the World Juniors and the Habs had no fewer than six players suit up for their countries.
The round robin portion of the 2014 World Juniors has come to an end with all six Hab prospects moving on to the medal round.
Goaltender Zach Fucale was the Habs’ 2nd round pick, 36th overall in the 2013 Entry Draft.
Winger Martin Reway was Montreal’s 4th round pick, 116th overall in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
The month of November sees an almost entirely new set of prospects rise to the top in our monthly 3-Stars.
