The Habs have once again dipped into the junior free agent market, inking centre Alexandre Alain to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Laval failed to save their best for last as a pair of losses capped their season while solidifying their dead-last position in the AHL. It wasn’t all bad, however, as a pair of players received some good news to end their year on a higher note.

The Habs added to their prospect pool late on Saturday, inking free agent forward Hayden Verbeek to a three-year, entry-level contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
