The Habs trailed for most of the game and were outhit and outmuscled considerably but in the end, none of that mattered as the Habs pulled out their second straight overtime win on Sunday night to take a 3-0 series lead against Ottawa.
With the season now over for the Hamilton Bulldogs, the Habs have announced which players will be joining the big club to serve as extras for their playoff run. Suffice it to say, it’s a much smaller list than usual.
What was hyped as a potentially violent Game 2 between the Montreal Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators was certainly physical, but in essence a clean, drama free 3-2 overtime victory for the Canadiens.
