Jarred Tinordi’s time with the Habs has come to an end. He has been flipped to the Coyotes as part of a three way trade that sees John Scott and Victor Bartley coming to the Canadiens.
It was a tough month to bear for the Montreal Canadiens and their fans alike. Not only were two of their stars sidelined with injury, the healthy players weren’t able to muster much of a semblance of competency as they stumbled to a pathetic 3-11-0 record.
Well, well…we’re at the other end of the spectrum after the first 21 games, aren’t we. Following a 7-12-1 stretch, with one of the worst December’s in club history, the Canadiens have dropped into the thick of the playoff race after a magical first quarter of the season.

In the previous two months, HabsWorld’s readers might have had difficulties picking the HW 3 Stars, since Montreal was getting significant contributions from almost everyone. With December’s horrendous record of 3-11-0, our readers may encounter similar difficulties, but for the opposite reason.
The New Year brought new life to the Habs as they played one of their best games in quite some time at the Winter Classic as they beat the hometown Bruins 5-1 in front of over 67,000 fans at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.
