The Habs went into Vancouver on Saturday hoping to end their Western road trip on a winning note. It took another third period comeback but they were able to do so as they picked up a 3-2 victory.
Tomas Plekanec will never be a member of the pantheon of great Montreal Canadiens. But in an era where the Habs struggled offensively and searched relentlessly and in vain for a number one centre, Plekanec performed consistently and professionally.

In a game where the entire team decided that defence was optional and Carey Price continued to struggle, the bright spot continued to be Montreal’s offence. However, it wasn’t enough as Buffalo prevailed 6-5 in overtime on Thursday night.
The Rangers did to the Habs as the Habs did to the Islanders. All seemed under control at the midway point of the game, but some undisciplined play defensively allowed the Rangers to come back as they beat Montreal 5-3.
