Tuesday’s game against Ottawa was a back-and-forth affair that saw the Habs trailing twice in the third period. However, they were able to bounce back each time, eventually skating away with the 6-3 victory.
The Habs got off to a strong start in Vancouver on Tuesday night and were able to hold the lead from there, picking up their first win of this road trip by a score of 4-2.
The Habs were able to keep it close on Thursday night in Edmonton as they kicked off a four-game West Coast road trip. It looked as if the game was going to be heading to a shootout but Evan Bouchard scored with seven seconds left to give them the 3-2 win.

As things stand, the Habs don’t have a pick that’s expected to fall at the back of the first round but that could change if they acquire one before the trade deadline or if they wind up with Florida’s pick from the original Sean Monahan trade.
