The week started off strong for both the Montreal Canadiens and the Hamilton Bulldogs, but unfortunately for both, it ended far from favourably.
It was a week of direct contrasts for the Habs, 2 good efforts, with 2 others that were lacking.
It was another offensive explosion for the Habs this week, as the team potted an impressive 12 goals in 2 games.
The Habs, despite scoring a grand total of 5 goals this week managed to win 2 of their 3 games, keeping pace in the tight Eastern Conference.
The Canadiens continued to roll on this week until they hit New York, but still managed to take 2 of 3 wins.
The offence continued to dominate for the Habs this week, scoring 10 goals en route to earning a win and overtime loss.
The second half of Montreal’s longest road trip of the season wound up this week, with the team picking up a well deserved 5 of 6 points in the process.
Just like last season, the Habs are limping into the holiday break, winning just 1 of 4 games and not looking particularly sharp in any of them.
For the most part, it was a nice rebound week for the Habs, taking 5 of a possible 6 points, and finally managed to score more than 2 goals in consecutive games.
