With the trade deadline now less than a week away and the roster freeze set to expire on Monday, it’s time to look at what the Habs’ next move(s) might be.
With the Habs off for the Olympics, the Hamilton Bulldogs took centre stage this week.
The 2010 Olympic Winter Games have now come to an end. A total of 6 Habs represented the organization in the tournament.
This week had it all for the Habs, a GM change, a trade, a huge upset win, plus a pair of disappointing losses to the Flyers.
Like last night, the Habs spotted the Flyers an early 3-0 lead and like last night, they weren’t able to come back.
On Friday night, the Habs slept walked through the first 40 minutes before showing some life in the 3rd period.
It didn’t take very long for Pierre Gauthier to make some noise as the new GM of the Habs.
Despite numerous injuries, the Habs managed to pull off a trio of victories this week, moving them to 6th in the Eastern Conference.
