HW Recap: Habs Keep on Rolling at Home

The week didn’t start off well for the Habs but it ended on their highest note of the season with a shellacking of Colorado. As for St. John’s, they split the final two games of their home stand but remain outside of a playoff spot as they embark on a four week road trip.

HW Recap: At least the California Trip is over now

Montreal’s California trip didn’t go quite as bad as usual as the Habs managed a win while dropping a pair of close contests as well. In St. John’s, they didn’t play particularly well in all but one of their four games but managed to pick up a pair of wins thanks to a different goalie stepping up.

Home ice continues to be great for the Habs who have now won ten straight at the Bell Centre to start the year to set a new franchise record. Things weren’t as rosy for St. John’s though who lost both of their games to kick off their road trip.
