Now that the dust has settled on an eventful start to November, let’s take a look back at last month and which Montreal prospects were the top performers.
The Habs are going to be without a pair of core players for the foreseeable future following some announcements from the team on Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, the team also announced that Jared Davidson has been recalled from Laval.
It was a light week on the schedule for Laval who only played twice, the second game kicking off a four-game road trip. However, they put forth a pair of strong efforts to take both games and move into a share of first place in the division.
The Habs haven’t gotten off to a great start to the month of November and lost two of their three games this past week. However, with both of those losses coming after regulation, they still managed a solid four points in the standings to stay atop the division.
Laval returned home last week to kick off a four-game home stand. They played the first three games of that stretch and they were able to pick up a pair of wins with Jacob Fowler putting up strong performances in both those games.
It was a light week for the Habs as they wrapped up a West Coast trip and had one of their longer breaks of the season. The bad news is that the blew a multi-goal lead in each of their two games. The good news is that they still won both in overtime.
