The 2014 World Juniors will be taking place from December 26th through January 5th.  This year, the Habs will have six representatives: Zach Fucale and Charles Hudon (CAN), Sebastian Collberg and Jacob De la Rose (SWE), Artturi Lehkonen (FIN), and Martin Reway (SVK).  They also have a prospect in the Spengler Cup as Hamilton goalie Robert Mayer has been loaned to Geneve-Servette.  As is our annual tradition, we will be tracking each players' progress throughout their tournaments.

Lehkonen's +7 rating put him 3rd on Finland but also 3rd in the tournament amongst all forwards.

Reway was named Slovakia's Player of the Game vs USA.  He was named one of Slovakia's Best Three players of the tournament.  He also led the team in goals and shots on goal while tying for the team lead in points.  Reway is now tied for 11th all-time in Slovakian World Junior points.  Despite playing two fewer games than most teams, he finished 5th in WJC points.

Mayer was the winning goalie in both games against Moscow, the second being in the Gold Medal Game.
