Owen Beck has been one of the better players for the Canadiens during the preseason and he was rewarded for his efforts on Tuesday as the team announced that they’ve signed him to a three-year, entry-level contract.
With Laval’s training camp on the horizon, a long list of cuts was expected. Those cuts came on Friday as the Habs trimmed their camp roster by 23 players.
On Monday, the Habs made their first of what will be many cuts at training camp as they sent four players back to their respective junior teams, bringing the number of players at camp down to 71.
