The Habs’ recent woes continue but they were able to squeak out a win over a pair of weekend games to keep pace in the Atlantic.

Seeking their second win in as many nights, the Canadiens traveled to Florida to take on the Panthers. Unfortunately, the Canadiens weren’t up for the challenge, as a combination of lackadaisical play and horrible officiating led to a 4-1 loss.

When GM Marc Bergevin and the Montreal Canadiens announced the UFA signing of Daniel Briere, there were mixed responses among the media and fan base.
