News of Max Pacioretty’s six year contract extension that broke late Monday night came as a surprise to many.
Strengths: He is capable of stealing games and going on streaks at the AHL level. He has quick feet for a goalie and uses that to his advantage.
Strengths: Loves to mix things up physically; he isn’t afraid to drop the gloves. He is also an effective penalty killer and is capable of playing all forward positions.
Strengths: Plays a very physical game while playing responsibly in all areas of the ice. He has, in the past, shown an ability to move up and play on a higher line when called upon.
If someone said heading into last season that Tomas Plekanec would not be the centre of the Habs’ top offensive line, a lot of eyebrows would have been raised.
2011-12 wasn’t the best of years stats wise for many of the Montreal Canadiens although there were a few who exceeded our expectations.
