Canadiens defenseman Patrice Brisebois will miss the teams next two games because of a groin injury. Brisebois has 9 points in 29 games this season along with a team leading +8. Brisebois will be replaced by Mike Komisarek in the lineup.

It is not yet known if Steve Begin will play against the Panthers on Friday , Begin suffered a left shoulder injury against the Rangers on Wednesday night.
