HW Updates, by Dan Linn

March 2004 – Playoffs Report – St. Lawrence– Ryan Glenn
sadly has seen his career in the NCAA come to an end, as his team lost in the
second round to the top seeded team Colgate University. But it was a very
exciting year for Glenn and St. Lawrence as they were able to knock off the Yale
Bulldogs in a surprise sweep during 1st round action. Glenn really
stepped up his play towards the end of the season, and during the playoffs, and
for his hard work he was named to the ALL ECAC 1st Team for the first
time in the four years he played at St. Lawrence.

February 2004 – Glenn has really stepped it up lately, as he
has shown a big improvement in his offensive production, as he has recently
recorded more assists this season, then in his entire NCAA career of 105 games.
He’s also improved his defensive play, as he is third on the team in +/- while
playing on the top defensive pairing. One thing he seems to have worked on was
shooting the puck more, as he is getting close to three and a half shots a game,
which shows he has more confidence his in shot, hence the career high in goals
scored. As a senior, Glenn is making a case for management to consider signing
him once his NCAA career is over, which is only a few weeks away.
Ryan Glenn is HabsWorld
Prospect of the month for February 2004

January 2004 – Is third on his team in scoring, and is one
point away from a career high in points, as he plays in his final season at St.
Lawrence. Glenn is one of the leaders on the team, and a major reason for their
improved play of late, as he is third on the team in +/-.

December 2003 – Is tied for 4th on his team in
scoring. Is playing in his final season for St. Lawrence. He is on pace to out
score last years totals of 14 points in 36 games.

November 2003 – Has picked it up some, with a two goal game
the other night. Still needs to show a lot, if he is to earn a contract this
summer, when his NCAA career ends.

October 2003 – Is playing his final season in the NCAA, and
so far his team is playing better, but Glenn will need to step up his game
offensively. A team leader that sees a lot of ice time, Glenn will hope to land
a spot with Hamilton or Columbus (ECHL) next season, has his work cut out for
him.

September 2003 – Will be finishing his final season at St.
Lawrence. Their season starts on October 3rd.
