The 2009 IIHF World Hockey Championships
concluded this past Sunday, with six players representing the Habs organization
throughout the tournament. 
It was a struggle for most of the Habs, as Tomas Plekanec and Christopher Higgins
struggled throughout, while Jaroslav Halak had a terrible start to his
tournament.  Yannick Weber played okay in a limited role, while the top
performances by Hab players went to a pair of Russians that aren’t likely to
grace the Bell Centre ice any time soon, Alexander Perezhogin and Konstantin
Korneev.  Here is a compilation of their stats in each game.
