After being a healthy scratch for the previous game, Michael Ryder will play with Saku Koivu and Richard Zednik on the first line tonight. Yanic Perreault and Marcel Hossa will both sit out the game. The Canadiens will start Jose Theodore in nets , while the Canucks counter with Dan Cloutier.
Tonights game is the third of a 5 game road trip which has seen the Canadiens lose on Long Island and win in Ottawa. After tonight its onto Calgary for a Thursday game against the Flames before taking part in the heritage classic outdoor game versus the Oilers.
