HabsWorld Community
The HabsWorld Community was created in 2002 by and for Montreal Canadiens fans around the world. The aim of the website is to provide Habs fans with a "one-stop" source for all things Canadiens. With most of its collaborators being University students or recent graduates, HabsWorld offers an environment where its writers can get support from experienced editors and writers. HabsWorld also provides a forum where fans from around the world can discuss their favourite team. If you are looking for a place to share your passion about the Habs, while at the same time improve your writing, journalistic, or editing abilities, this is the place for you! Since its inception, more than 70 writers have been a part of HabsWorld and we're always looking for more people to join our team. Management TeamMatt Gauthier (Administrator) In the Spring of 2002, Matt led a team of a dozen passionate Habs fans in the creation of the HabsWorld Community. As the site's administrator, he is responsible for promoting HW's distinctive vision, managing the operations of the website editors' team as well as the forum moderators' team. He is currently pursuing a Master's in International Administration. Brian La Rose (Chief Editor) Brian has been with HabsWorld since Day 1 holding a variety of positions, including Stats Editor and Prospects Editor. He holds an Advanced Diploma and a Bachelor's Degree (Honours) in Business Administration. On top of his work as Chief Editor, Brian is also the site's 'capologist' and the person to go to for any CBA-related information. Norm Szcyrek (Editor) Norm has been a contributor on HabsWorld since 2005. Starting as a writer, then moving on as an editor, he pitches in with different projects, and enjoys most taking part in collaborative assignments. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and has been working in the IT field for over 17 years. Louis Moustakas (Editor) Louis joined the HabsWorld team in the fall of 2009, writing articles and maintaining the website's Facebook page, and was promoted to editor in time for the 2010 campaign. Louis was born in Chicago but has lived in Quebec most of his life, hence explaining his passion for hockey and the Canadiens. Louis has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Universite Laval and currently lives in Ottawa where he works for the Coaching Association of Canada. He is also an Associate Editor at HabsAddict.com Matt Dilworth (Editor) Matt has been part of the Habsworld community since 2005. He joined the writers team in 2009 and is now serving as editor since 2010. Born just outside of Montreal, he left Quebec at an early age and has since lived in Ontario. Matt holds an honours Bachelor's degree in Psychology and an advanced diploma in Behavioural Science. He is currently employed in the field of Addictions. HabsWorld Collaborators
