I’m a lover of sports in general – if it’s on, I’ll likely watch it. But nothing compares to hockey and Montreal Canadiens. I’ve lived most of my life on the west coast, which presents some challenges as a Habs fan, but it’s never been so easy to follow my favourite club as it is these days. In Vancouver I work as an Editorial Assistant at a local travel magazine and do a lot of volunteering at local museums. My background includes a Bachelor’s degree in History, training as technical writer and work in hospitality. I’m also an avid traveler myself and have significant spent time in Europe, South and Central America and Asia. My favourite spots? Spain, Vietnam, Belize…the list goes on.

Vote for November’s 3 Stars!

The Habs followed up an uncharacteristically rough October with an up and down November that featured some big wins and a five-game losing streak mid-month. Let us know who you think was the biggest difference maker in November.

Fantasy Focus: Artturi Lehkonen

Montreal has built some solid depth on the wings with the addition of some exciting young talent recently. Artturi Lehkonen is one of these standouts with great potential to be a top-six winger for the club as early as this coming season.

2017 UFA Preview: Forwards

It’s no secret that the Canadiens would like to add some more offensive firepower to the team for the upcoming season. Given the Habs’ depth at wing they may be wiser to pursue UFA options at centre in a relatively weak forward pool this offseason.

Draft Options: Shane Bowers

An option at pick 25 could very likely be Shane Bowers, a Canadian centre going the NCAA route. He played with Waterloo in the USHL last season and has committed to powerhouse Boston University for the 2017-18 campaign.
