Despite a not so happy ending, the week that was for the Habs can be called a major improvement over what we’ve seen recently.
It was another up and down week for the Habs, with the highlight being a solid 3-1 win on the road in Detroit.
The Habs tiptoed through another iffy week, but seem to be showing some limited signs of life.
It was a very up and down week for the Habs, who, despite less than adequate play at times, wound up splitting their 4 games.
Last season, the Montreal Canadiens were a team known for their hard work, even though the high-end talent may not have been there.
It was a struggle for the Habs this week, as they managed just 1 of 4 points to cap off their road trip.

A lack of defence proved to be the downfall this week for the Canadiens organization. It cost the Habs a game against the Ducks in which they outplayed them badly, and it hurt the Bulldogs, who couldn’t get a W this week in 3 games.
The Habs continue to click offensively, winning all 3 games this week, scoring 12 goals along the way.
The Habs finally returned to action this week, and although their season didn’t start as well as many hoped, their second outing was an impressive 6-1 drubbing of Toronto.
