HabsWorld.net --

It appears as if indeed recently re-called winger Jozef Balej will get his first taste of NHL action tonight as the Canadiens visit New Jersey for a 7:30 tilt (TV- RDS, Radio: CJAD, CKAC).  It is expected that Balej will fill the spot left by the injured Andreas Dackell, who injured his knee in practice the other day.  Dackell is currently listed as day-to-day.  Chad Kilger was expected to remain a healthy scratch, however he has been inserted into the lineup with a back injury to Joe Juneau, while Steve Begin’s return to the lineup remains roughly a week away.

In other news, as expected, defenceman Andrei Markov will suit up for the Canadiens tonight, after missing the past month with various injuries.  This means that Mike Komisarek will watch the game from the press box tonight.

No other lineup changes are expected for tonight’s game, which will feature Jose Theodore for the Canadiens taking on Martin Brodeur for the Devils.
