(2010-09-27 11:26 posted by B. La Rose) The Habs finish off their 4 game in 4 nights stint by hosting the Florida Panthers on Monday night at the Bell Centre. Sunday's victory over Minnesota pushed Montreal's preseason record to an even 2-2 while the Panthers are tied for the most wins in the East with a 3-0 mark. Carey Price gets the nod for the Habs while Tomas Vokoun starts for Florida.
Last night, the Habs rebounded from a 6-2 shellacking in Ottawa to beat the Wild 4-3. Despite having regulars like Scott Gomez, Brian Gionta, and Andrei Kostitsyn in the lineup, the youngsters provided the scoring. Andreas Engqvist, Ryan White, and Brendon Nash, all rookies, scored for Montreal while offseason acquisition Dustin Boyd was the only "regular" to tally for the Habs. Alex Auld was relatively untested in the game, making 11 saves on 14 shots. Sunday's Boxscore
