HabsWorld.net --

The Montreal Canadiens face the St. Louis Blues tonight, for the first time in almost two years. The Habs have been inconsistent during the month of January, with a 2-4-1 record to date.

St. Louis will be playing the second game of a three-game road trip. Last Monday, they lost 4-2 to Columbus, and have been struggling on the road with a 1-3-1 record in their last five road games.

Montreal has lost three of its last four games and has allowed a shorthanded goal in each of its last two. Their power play is still at a remarkable 24.5% success rate, but has slipped to 2nd in the league to Washington’s 25.1%, due to the team’s recent skid. The Canadiens have a less than stellar 3-8-1 record against the Western Conference this season.
