Brian Gionta picks up his play most on Saturday nights. This season, he's averaging 1.15 PPG on Saturdays; his second best PPG average is Thursdays where he has 10 points in as many games.
A tough energy player who plays physical
and protects teammates. He will drop the gloves and has the size and speed
to to be an effective checker.
Weaknesses:
Defensively he needs a lot of work
often going out of position for a big hit. Offensively he is seriously
undermanned to be more then a bottom line player.
