Strengths:

Above average skater with a strong shot, anticipates the play well in the offensive zone.  Though not overly physical, he won't completely shy away from that aspect of the game either.
 

Weaknesses:

Has a tendency to avoid the defensive side of the game, attitude issues have been noted since junior.  Consistency is also a big concern with Pouliot.
