While the Habs had a strong run in the playoffs, it hasn’t carried over to the regular season as they managed just two wins in ten games in October. Jonathan Drouin made an impact upon his return while at least one newcomer made an impact as well. At the same time, several others that were expected to play key roles struggled considerably.
