After a tough year in Montreal, this season’s edition of the Canadiens feels completely different and has given us plenty of reasons for optimism. Jumping out to a string 6-3-2 start, this year’s Habs is a hard-working, fast group with a number of players that could easily deserve mention in the month’s three stars. From newcomers such as Domi and Tatar to returnees like Price and Gallagher, this team is fun to watch and are a handful every night. Throw in the strong play of Mike Reilly and promising youngster Jesperi Kotkaniemi and things may not be so bad in Montreal this season.
