Another month is behind us, and your Montreal
Canadiens are that much closer to competing in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
With an impressive 9-3-2 record in February, the Canadiens finished the month .01% away from
clinching a playoff spot, and are now vying for first place in the division and
conference. Although there is always room for improvement (such as winning
against against non-playoff teams), the Canadiens will be hard-pressed to
improve upon their goals-against; in regulation or overtime in the 14 February
games, the Canadiens only allowed more than 2 goals a mere 4 times. This
team-wide commitment to defence and the stellar play of Carey Price has Montreal
sitting comfortably in the standings.
With such success in February, you know that
there must be many candidates in Montreal that merit consideration for the HW 3
Stars of the month. To make your selection, pick your three players from
