It was a tale of two teams during November, as the Montreal Canadiens
sandwiched an impressive 6-game winning streak between 2 losing skids to start
and end the month. All in all, the Canadiens went 8-5-1, which solidified
their place at the stop of the standings, and for a while, gave them the best
record in the NHL. But three consecutive losses at the end of the month,
including two to the basement-dwelling Buffalo Sabres, may have humbled the
Habs; with December looking like a tougher month on paper, the Canadiens will
have to find a means to regain their winning ways if they’re to remain
comfortably in playoff contention.
It should come as no surprise that the performances from the Canadiens were
as inconsistent as their team record would indicate. Some nights the Habs
looked unbeatable, while some games they looked AHL-calibre. Nevertheless,
some Canadiens were more responsible for the victories in November, and
Habsworld would like to know your candidates for the HW 3 Stars. Simply
