In the summer of 2012, the HW writers were optimistic
and put together some fantasy projections for the upcoming season.  But as
everyone who follows hockey knows, the players were locked out until recently,
thus rendering our 82-game predictions quite unrealistic.

Our writers’ original projections have been pro-rated
for a 48-game schedule and tabled for your fantasy hockey convenience. 
Since Rene Bourque was slated to miss the start of the original season, his
predictions were adjusted for the shorter season and the assumption that he
would play every game.
