On Monday, the Habs announced their second and third sets of cuts, removing
23 players
from their training camp roster.  The remaining two junior eligible players
were sent back to their CHL team while 21 others were assigned to the Hamilton
Bulldogs, whose first exhibition game is Thursday in Newfoundland against
Binghamton.

A total of 31 players remain in camp.  6 of those are denoted as injured
players: Hunter Bishop, Roman Hamrlik, Andrei Markov, Max Pacioretty,
Ryan Russell, and Curtis Sanford.  These players cannot be cut until they are
healthy (obviously some of this list won’t be cut); if they remain injured
heading into the season, they will count against the Habs’ salary cap.
