Michael Lambert- LW. Continues to play on the top line, where he leads his team in scoring, but has slowed down his scoring pace lately, as he is recovering from some minor injuries. At the half way point in this season, Lambert is close to hitting career highs in goals, assists and points, as he continues to be a major factor in the Rocket’s successful season, especially on the power play.

Cory Urquhart- C. Urquhart is second on his team in scoring, as he has been neck and neck with Lambert all season long for the team scoring lead. Urquhart has also had his scoring pace slowed, as he too has needed to battle through some minor injuries as well.

Maxim Lapierre- C. Has improved his offensive production lately, and has been rewarded by Coach Vigneault with some time on the top line playing with Lambert and Urquhart, for an all Hab prospect line. This line has been effective over the last few games, and Lapierre has benefitted from playing with the gifted forwards, as he too is getting close to setting career highs in goals, assists and points.

Jimmy Bonneau- LW. Has played in every game, and has lived up to his goal of producing more on offense, and earning more ice time from Coach Vigneault. Bonneau has been able to set career highs on offense already, while showing some impressive discipline when the game is close, as he has been given an increased role with the team, and expected to do more the just drop the gloves.

Danny Stewart- LW/C. Stewart continues to be third on his team in scoring, and he has set career highs in assists and points, while showing improvement in his defensive zone coverage.

Corey Locke- C. Locke has been on fire lately, as he has picked up 27 points over the last 11 games, an impressive feat considering has to play with some inexperienced wingers at times. He is currently second in the OHL in scoring, as he has amassed an astounding 219 points in his last 104 games with 92 goals over that span. Locke has proven he can rack up the points in juniors, the next test for him will be in the American league, as the players get bigger, stronger and faster.

Andre Deveaux- C. Deveaux has had some real trouble scoring goals lately, as he hasn’t hit the back of the net in the last 12 games, so his point production has taken a big hit, while also hurting his +/- numbers which took a hit as well. Part of the problem could be his increased time spent in the box, as he has picked up 42 pims over the last 10 games. Even with the recent lack of production, Deveaux is near career highs in all areas of offense, and he continues to play a major role in his teams success especially in the face-off circle.

Mark Flood- D. Flood is currently fourth on his team in scoring, while he plays on the top pairing, and gets both PP and PK time. Flood has almost doubled his goal production from last year, in 27 less games, and is close to setting career highs in assist and points as well. With his team struggling of late, his +/- numbers have dipped, as has the entire teams for the most part.

Ryan O’Byrne- D. O’Byrne has yet to record a point, but he does continue to lead the team in penalty minutes, and he has been able to play in every game so far, getting around 15-16 minutes a game. Cornell is coming off it’s first ever championship win in the Everblades classic, as they beat some top notch teams to win the tournament, and O’Byrne was an important part of that win as he used his size well and played a physical game. Cornell uses a left wing lock system, so this gives the right defense a chance to pinch in often.

Ryan Glenn- D. Is third on his team in scoring, and is one point away from a career high in points, as he plays in his final season at St. Lawrence. Glenn is one of the leaders on the team, and a major reason for their improved play of late, as he is third on the team in +/-.

Scott Selig- RW. A disappointing year so far, Selig has yet to record a single point in the nine games he’s played, but he’s missed a good of the season, which is a tough way for him to end his college career, as he plays his last season for Northeastern.

Christopher Heino-Lindberg- G. Playing for the worst team in the tier-2 division, Lindberg has been pounded with shots on a nightly basis, as he has faced close to 900 shots already, but his save % ranks him at 8^th overall in the league, which is impressive considering the defense in front of him. Lindberg could make a name for himself to grab a spot on next years U-20 team for Sweden, as he has international experience, and there are some weak spots on the roster of Team Sweden.

Andrei Kastsitsyn- C/LW. In his return from the World Juniors, Kastsitsyn joined CSKA, and was able to dress in four games, but was unable to produce on offense, so he has been sent down to CSKA-2, where he picked up three points in his first game back, as he has been very productive in the 1^st league with close to a goal a game average.

Konstantin Korneev- D. Playing on the fourth pairing, ice time has been hard to come by, as Korneev returns to AK Bars after taking part in the recent U-20 tournament, where he was one of Russia’s top players.

Alex Buturlin- RW. Points have been tough to come by lately, as Buturlin has only picked up two goals over the last ten games, but he did leave the team to join the Russian Senior National Team, where he played on the fourth line in his first trip to the Karjala Cup but was held pointless in the two games he played.

Oskari Korpikari- D. Korpikari suffered a shoulder injury during the recent U-20 tournament, and has yet to return to the lineup for Karpat, where he was playing a regular shift on the third pairing. Was injured in the third game of the WJC’s, as he sadly had to watch his team take home the bronze for a third straight year.

Joni Puurula- G. Puurula after being named the starter last year, had a shaky playoff series at times, so a veteran goalie was brought in to help with the goaltending duties, but in his first game of the season, Puurula was injured on the first shot he faced. He has made it back into the lineup, but with a hot goaltender in front of him, ice time has been hard to come by.

Tomas Linhart – D. Returning from the recent U-20 tournament, where he played on the top pairing at times, but his team was unable to medal this year. Linhart continues to spend time in the top league, the Mens Div I, while also seeing time in the Czech junior league as well.

Jaroslav Halak- G. Halak is returning from the recent U-20 tournament, where he was named as the starting goalie for Team Slovakia, after an impressive showing at the U-18 tournament last year. Before the tournament, Halak had been leading the Slovak junior league in save percent, and goals against, which got him called up to the Mens Div I league, the top league in his country. He was returned to his junior team to prepare for the U-20’s, where he had an impressive performance as he lead his team to sixth place.
