Canadiens’ head coach Claude Julien announced Friday morning that checking centre Steve Begin will not play vs the Panthers, despite Begin insisting that he is healthy and ready to play.  It is expected that centre Joe Juneau will return to the lineup and assume his spot alongside wingers Nik Sundstrom and Andreas Dackell. 

Also, Donald Audette will make his return as well, playing on the 4th line alongside Yanic Perreault and Chad Kilger, meaning that Darren Langdon may be scratched for tonight’s game, although there has been no confirmation of that just yet.

Defenceman Mike Komisarek will also play tonight as well as tomorrow in Tampa Bay as defenceman Patrice Brisebois is out 7-10 days with a shoulder injury.
