HabsWorld.net --

With 2 losses in a row for the first time this season, fans are getting quite upset and starting to ask themselves questions about the potential of the Montreal Canadiens. Despite being one of the best scoring team for the first two weeks of the year, there’s still no forward emerging from the group and establishing himself as the leader of the offensive squad. It’s tough to believe that the Habs leading goal scorer is Yanic Perreault with 4 goals in 9 games. But it doesn’t seem like enough for Yanic , since he’s one of the biggest targets of fan’s criticism.

After yesterday’s disastrous game, Julien probably shook up his team this morning. With a win, Habs would move from last to first place in the North East Division. We should see Ribeiro having another great night alongside Zednik. Koivu returning in the next days, Mike is thriving for 1st line duties. Darren Langdon could see his first action of the season tonight after being injured since training camp, he will be a gametime decison.

Hot
Rookie Patrice Bergeron impress so far with the Bruins. The youngest NHL player is playing on the second line with Brian Rolston and PJ Axelsson. The young center is leading all NHL rookies with 7 points in 9 games.

Cold
Donald Audette was moved to the fourth line late in the game against Philadelphia. The right winger has not registered a point in the 5 last contests.
